Crocodiles!
These pictures were taken on the Adelaide River just outside Darwin, they were taken from a boat that was not as long as some of the monsters that approached it! These pictures are 100% real and are not for the faint hearted. The crocs were leaping almost full body length out of the water for pieces of meat suspended on strings from poles held by the boat driver.
If you're ever in Darwin YOU HAVE to go on this trip, try and avoid going on one of the huge pleasure cruisers though, because you do not get nearly as close to these beasts as you do on the smaller boats, I went with Territory Style Tours, in 1995 the trip cost $39 and this included a lot of other site-seeing besides. Well worth the money!
